Recently, I stood in front of a conference room full of technology and business leaders talking about the role of governance in our daily jobs. As a result, I will share a two-part series on governance. This first post covers topics critical to effectively understanding and implementing business agility governance. It combines strategic, technological, cultural, and sustainability, offering a well-rounded view for leaders looking to implement or enhance governance frameworks in their modern business environments.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, governance refers to:
the way that organisations or countries are managed at the highest level, and the systems for doing this’.

As markets rapidly develop, the demand for agility within businesses intensifies, driven by an unending influx of new ideas, technologies, and customer expectations. Companies that are slow to adapt risk falling behind their competitors. This urgency ushers in the need for business agility governance, which transforms traditional governance methods to accommodate the demands of these modern dynamic markets.
